Winners in Thank You to Faithful Followers Contest Announced
I am very happy to announce the
winning names in my

Faithful Followers Contest
I had 63 names from the various sites I regularly post art on. They were chosen because they consistently comment on my artwork. I also added the names of other regular supporters and clients! The purpose was to have a way to say thank you to all these very nice people because I sincerely appreciate their interest and support!
To chose the names I put the numbered list in alphabetical order to mix up the different groups and asked my husband to generate three random numbers between 1 and 63. Then I matched the number with the name to come up with the winning names! The winning numbers were 19, 36 and 28.
19 is Heather Rinehart from RED BUBBLE!
36 is Laura Grogan from RED BUBBLE!
28 is Judith from PAINTER TALK FORUM!
The winners get to choose a painting from this website's gallery (because not all my paintings are posted on all sites) in the size of their choice! The winners will also be notified by email. I think God works in mysterious ways because I was secretly hoping one of these persons would win! (I promise I didn't cheat because that would be no fun, not to mention unfair!)
I recieved many emails in response thanking me from those chosen to be entered in the contest, a lovely bonus that I didn't really expect!
The most moving and heartfelt response came from Judith of Painter Talk! She told me what my art meant to her in terms that made my heart sing! I have never felt more like a real artist, and she absolutely validated my goals and aspirations as an artist! Since she is one of my winners (she was already a winner in my heart) I'm going to ask her if I can share her words on this blog!
Congratulations to Heather, Laura and Judith! When they have chosen their paintings I will post their choices here too! Doing this was so much fun and such a positive experience that I'm seriously thinking of holding a monthly draw! Stay tuned for further announcements in that vein!

It took me so long to decide which of your beautiful paintings that I could choose, as you have so many and when I love them all...well you can see why I didn't choose one in the first place.
