Windflower- Digital Watercolour Painting in Progress Day SixBlue Wind Blowing a Digital Watercolour in Progress
Ever Heard of a Pudge Brush? Or a Sminch?
Okay, now I'm at the point that I need to scrap this painting because nothing I do will ever make it right (major repainting doesn't count because then it is a new painting!) One more flower to see if that helps...it actually gets better with the next two versions. Still doing a lot of wet and dry glazing and blending. Made a new custom brush that is a cross between a Pinch and a Smudge Brush! lol! Sminch Brush, Pudge Brush... (I like that one!) The idea is to tidy up the edges , but not make the line too hard or too blurred. Sort of a slightly blurry edge.
![]() This next one starts to show a little more depth perception. There are flaws in the technique, but I learned a lot doing this and trying to figure it out on my own.
![]() That's as far as I'm going to go with this one. Not a successful attempt, but I still learned a great deal trying. It started out too dark to be able to add much depth by going darker.
