Video Tutorial Excerpt from My Course - One of a Series on Painting Skies in Digital Watercolour

This is a little taste of some material from my course Learning To Paint Elements in the Watercolour Landscape with Corel Painter 12.

It shows a few of the techniques and brushes I use to paint skies using the wet Watercolour variants (Wet- Grainy Wet Abrasive). An unexpected twist occurs in this, which takes the sky from boring to dramatic in a few bold strokes. Watch and see how it happens!

The video highlights why it's important to use Layers in painting digital watercolours and How to Transform a Layer, and change the opacity of it.

Many of the videos will have PDF's with further written explanations to accompany them.

The video quality for blog size is not nearly as clear as the ones produced for the course.

Please note: The Custom Brush Sets that will be available in the course will not be uploaded to this blog until the course starts, however, many of the brushes I consistently use have the brush settings posted in the blog somewhere.
