Using Layers in Corel Painter - Work in Progress - Great Blue Heron

This illustration shows the different layers I am using to paint this painting. Having different elements of the work on separate layers helped me figure out the composition, because I was able to move them around and resize them until I found the spot I think they looked best in. I erased the area of lake from the Catails layer, so I could paint them in on their own layer, and delete the sketch layer. When each layer is painted, I will drop them all and blend them in.
