The Nicest Thing Anyone Has Ever said About My Art
Judith P. sent me this on June 24, 2010 when I emailed her to say her name had been entered in my draw to thank my faithful followers! Yesterday when her number was picked as one of the winners I was thrilled, and asked her if I could include her lovely email on my blog. My blog is about the ups and downs I experience on my personal art journey...and this was definitely an "up" moment that I want to share with you!!

What an incredibly nice way of thanking the people who find you such an exceptional artist (which would be everybody...I'm sure).
I have to tell you that your writing and teaching abilities are fantastic as well as your extreme perfection in your artwork. I read and studied your site today and went places I have never been...I always seem to be busy. But I probably know all your artwork that you have posted on Painter Talk by heart. In other words, it stays on my mind and in my heart long after I have seen your latest painting. You definitely are so very talented and I am so happy that you share your world with us. You see beauty everywhere and it is very evident in your art. Your use of lighting and your knowledge of colors and what works and how to make it the very best it can be is awesome. I still remember when I saw your first pieces (that I was aware of). I hadn't been able to be on Painter Talk for awhile...then I saw some winter scenes, then you painted a scene of a lampost or light leading to your home. You paint what you see and I believed you live in a heavenly place. Even when you paint the things we look at everyday, apples, a summer walk...florals...they are all just amazing and you never have to feel like you need to thank us for commenting or noticing your paintings, because they touch us when we see them. As you said on your blog.... everyone needs art to fill their day with beauty and you fill alot of days of people who do have the opportunity to see your work..with great joy. We look forward to what you will paint next and sometimes it actually will take our breath away when we see your beautiful paintings. I often wonder how you do so many paintings and so perfectly. I believe you truly do have God's gift for enriching the lives of people with your art and are priviledged to see it. I would have a hard time picking one painting as each one is precious. It has your love of art and the way you see the world in it and it portrays that in your love of painting and our love of seeing your beauty as you see it....even in the ordinary which you make extraordinary by your skill as a fantastic artist.
