Slideshow of My Art from Fine Art America
![]() I see that only ten images are in this slide show, and I didn't get to choose which ones. I guess that's because I only have a free membership. Testing to see what this looks like and investigating the possibilities of signing up for Fine Art America's Print On Demand Program. To be able to do this you need to sign up for a Premium Membership which is $30.00/year. There is an impressive line up of Features Available with the Premium Membership. I would really like to know if any of you have sold work through Fine Art America and have you examined samples of the work beforehand? Please drop me a line or comment on your experiences with them. I realize their are many other variables to consider in whether you have sold work or not, so the real question is are you happy with the quality of the printed artwork (including Canvas Prints)? Are your customers happy? Thanks and Happy Painting! Posted in Miscellaneous. Updated June 5th, 2012. 2 comments so far. Share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, StumbleUpon, Delicious or Digg. I've been with FAA for about 1 1/2 year and sold 7 paintings during that time. One was ordered by my dentist's staff as a Christmas present for him and I saw the framed/matted print in his office. The colors were exactly like I had intended them to be. The matting was what I ordered and I was happy with frame. He and his staff were very pleased with it.
I've neve had any prints returned, but I did have one problem with them delaying printing because they felt the picture was blurry. I reminded that it is a painting, not a photograph and the snow haze on the mountains was intentional. They then printed it and The customer was satisfied.
Hope that helps. You do have to research your title and be sure it has good keywords in it. And don't forget to make your description full of appropriate keywords. So many people don't even fill in the description and the search engines do look there. Sometimes the title you would give it for sale in a gallery or art show is not the title you should use for the search engines. It took me a while to realize that.
