Successful day at 'Friends of the Library Arts and Craft Sale' in Stroud Ontario
Successful day at the "Friends of the Libary" Craft and Bake Sale in Stroud Ontario!
This post is to thank all those who made my day at the Friends of the Library Craft and Bake Sale so successful! I had a wonderful day, sales were really good and lots of people said they thought my art was beautiful! I sold lots of cards, prints and framed pieces. Everyone was friendly and helpful!
The sale was well-organized, had a great variety of good quality, well made crafts for sale by 37 vendors. From absolutely adorable Sock Monkeys, jams and jellies, yummy pies and baked goods, stunning jewelry, beautifully woven tea towels and things, handmade soap, knitted goods, beautifully sewn baby items to Christmas decorations.
Vendors recieved a ticket for a free coffee from the kitchen. A really nice touch! Baked goods, sandwiches, tea and coffee were available for sale at a charming little cafe area. The tables which were set with tablecloths and fall flower centerpieces, (I won one to take home in a draw at the end!)always seemed to be occupied!
There were a couple of hardworking, good natured teens helping vendors carry our bins and boxes from car to table, then back again at the end of the day! That was
really appreciated by everyone! They even dressed up as Santa helpers and wrote letters to Santa for the children!

All in all, it was a great experience and lots of fun! Everyone made me feel welcome and did their best to make it a successful event! A really big special thanks to the chief organizer and all the Friends of the Library volunteers for all their hard work and friendly help! Without their efforts my day could not have been so successful!
