Painting Trees with Digital WatercoloursI just painted a tree I really like using the methods I will be teaching in my upcoming course
I like the way John Derry's Wet Blender allowed me to add the gold on top of the green Splatters. Because I applied the splatters with the Pick up Underlying Colour box checked, then painted on top of it with the Preserve Transparency box checked (and PUC unchecked) the nice leafy edges and sky holes were 'preserved.'
I will be teaching this technique...and much more!
Please consider joining me to learn to get the most out your digital watercolour experience! I have lots of tips and techniques to show you. I know it will be lot of fun, because the classes I've taken at Digital Art Academy are taken by (and given by too! lol!) friendly, helpful, and really nice people! Everyone is so encouraging and supportive, no matter if you are really new at it, or have some previous experience.
So, what are you waiting for...head over to Digital Art Academy and sign up to begin learning how to paint a simple landscape in digital watercolours (by that I mean using all the Watercolour variants in Corel Painter, Skip Allen's great brushes and John Derry's amazing Digital Watercolours!)
Hope to see you there!![]() Posted in Teaching Digital Painting on January 2nd, 2012. Share on StumbleUpon or Del.icio.us, or Digg this post. Related postsAdd a comment |
