My experimental Heron in the sunrise? sunset?

 

 

 

 

 

 

This isn't matching the heron I finished the other day, but I just got fed up with neat and tidy and realistic! I wanted to get some wetness and atmosphere in there and tell a story! This may be as far as this goes for now... time for bed, that orange is just too bright for this time of night. It's nice to just be able to save my painting and turn my computer off instead of having to clean up brushes and put things away. Although I am getting a real urge to try my 'real' watercolours out and try and paint some watery backgrounds, which I could scan and incorporate into my digital painting.

Sold two paintings and six Note Cards today! On that positive note - I'm going to bed.
