Learning to Paint Negatively in Digital Watercolour FloralsPainting Negatively Doesn't Mean You Think You Are a Lousy PainterThis is something that I have tried without success so many times, but I feel that it is essential to master it. I didn't get it right this time. I think it's because I didn't have a clear idea of the shapes in the foliage. It's actually harder than you think to see all the 'layers' when trying to paint the negative spaces. I keep going back to a positive shapes and gettting lost.
