Laminated Prints of Original Digital Watercolours a Great Decorating Idea for the Bathroom and Kitchen

Laminated Prints a Great Idea for the Bathroom and Kitchen

My sister-in-law recently had three of my floral pieces laminated at Staples for a very reasonable amount of money. She said it cost her about $27.00 for the three all together. The prints she used were 12 x 12 in. on Aurora Fine Art Paper. I didn't measure the finished pieces, but I imagine they were still pretty close to that size. The edges were finished in black. When I saw them I was actually kind of stunned by how good they looked! I had printed them as large as I could on my printer, which prints up to 13 x 19 in., but we could have had them printed larger somewhere else I suppose, then laminated.

The photos she took of them don't really do them justice, but give you an idea of how they look at least. I thought laminating them rather than framing them for the bathroom an expecially good idea because of the moisture in bathrooms. It is also an inexpensive alternative to framing.

I think some of my still life pieces would look really great done this way for the kitchen, especially since a lot of them are painted with a grouping of two or three in mind. Please note that I only have one size listed for each painting in my galleries, but I can customize the size for you within the 13 x 19 in. parameters.

This is my favourite apple painting, and  is also the subject of a painting tutorial in Digital Paint Magazine November 2010. For some reason the November issue isn't included in the back issues list. If you would like a copy of that issue I can email you a PDF of it on request. I can also email you the Brush Set used in the tutorial.

Note: I will be out of town for possibly a week Jan. 23 -30, 2011 so there might be a delay in getting back to you.

Discounts available for groupings or larger volume orders:

Groupings are also subject to discounts. ie: group of 3 - 25 % off each piece, groups of 2 -15% off each piece.

Joan - these piece look incredible. The art is so extraordinary, and having them laminated is a wonderful idea. Does the laminating change the appearance of the piece at all?
