Hello Everyone
I have been away from home since Easter Sunday April 4th helping my sisters look after my mother who has been ill. She was admitted to a Long Term Care facility a few days ago, a wrenching and difficult thing to do, especially since we had to do it on my birthday!
She seems to be reasonably happy there and adjusting well, which is a huge relief for me and my family. I'm actually impressed with the Nursing Home she's in. I have been assessing it on subsequent visits and everything I've seen so far has been reassuring.
So, that's why I haven't been blogging this past month! Hope to be home next week some time and back into my routine. I have really missed my art this past month in some respects, but really have been too busy and too exhausted to think about it much.
