Happy New Year Card

This is an experimental still life for me. The use of these colours together either makes me feel like I want to celebrate or like I have a hang-over (which I never do of course!) I liked the contrast of the shapes and that made it look like a card, so I added the circles! Still need a lot of work on painting glass.

 I think I will be sticking to Still Life  subjects for awhile, as I am really enjoying the challenge. I finished some red cherries on a white saucer today that I was happy with. Especiallyafter I got out of the tub just to add one more that fell off the plate! Check out my cherries on my website at  JoanAHamilton.com
