There is a new gallery in my galleries opened called Single Editions.
FAQS:
- Q: How do I know it is really a single edition when you could be making lots of copies? A:You'll have to believe me, and trust me when I promise in a Certificate of Authenticity that you will purchase the only printout of this original painting. It will not be used for cards, except by you (and they must be purchased separately from me).
- Q:What will it be printed on, by whom, and with what inks? Are they archival quality inks? It will be printed by me on Epson Radiant White Watercolour Paper, which is beautifully textured like real watercolour paper. I use Epson Ultrachrome pigment inks.
- Q:What size is the painting exactly? A: You can choose your final size within 13 by 19 inches. Price quoted in gallery is for the largest size I can do. 15.25 x 11.5 inches ,which happens to fit in an Ikea Ribba frame perfectly. Or I can size it to fit a more standard mat size. Smaller sizes will be priced accordingly.
- Q: Why am I doing this? A: As an experiment to see what value people would place on having a single edition painting of mine. It has been indicated to me that I need to place a higher value on my art before other people will.
Take care and as always Happy Painting!
