This was done in PowerPoint then captured slide by slide with SnagIt. My arm is about to fall off from clocking the mouse...I mean clicking, although I feel like clocking it, so it must be past my bedtime! I've been working all day on tutorials and lessons.

I think 10 to get through a whole painting is pretty good. Other paintings have taken more! I did write 3 other presentations outlining exactly how to use the lasso tool, how to apply a watercolour paper texture, and how to wet the entire wc layer in detail. All tutorials I've blogged about before, so you'll have to do a search for them if you need to know how.

I sure would like to know what you think of the new format for tutorials.

  • Do you think 10 slides is too long and should be divided up?
  • Are they helpful? Too detailed, not detailed enough?
  • Are they clear and easy to understand?
  • Have things you've learned about from them become part of your painting skills?
  • Do you have trouble carrying out the instructions?
  • Is there anything you would like to learn about that I could help you with?

Request an email from me if you would like to ask questions or comment  privately and I'll email you back!
